Westward Men is a company that has humble beginnings. Founded on friendship and fine ingredients we’ve evolved into what you see today. A company that provides hand made, natural products that do nothing but accentuate your manliest mug with a little Arizonan twist. Whether you want to have control, soothe your skin or simply make your face feel good-we’ve got you covered! And we promise that there is still more to come.
This tale starts when Caleb returned from his tour of duty in Afghanistan and he finally had the freedom to cover his mug in manliness, but quickly ran in to the issue that all fledgling bearded run into: how do I control this mane of hair?! After trying several popular “beard brands” on the market and always coming up short he decided to do some research and see what it took to make his own. That’s when Johnny got involved.
It turned out being two parts hippie and one part Jesus freak means you know a lot about essential oils and what feels great for the skin. After mixing and matching and a whole lot of experimentation they finally came up with some scents that worked. A LOT of time went into finding just the right balance to create the scents that became our signature line of face fuel. Eventually mustache wax, balm and hair wash followed. All with the same purpose in mind: quality product with no shortcuts and no shortage of supply.
Johnny and Caleb eventually had so much stuff they had to figure out what to do with it, and that’s when Johnny called Adam. Having previous business experience and searching for an excellent grooming product himself it was a match made in bromantic heaven. Together they analyzed the products and decided to bring them to those blessed with facial hair. Over time they finalized their creation process through brawn, ingenuity and coffee beans and made it their life goal to tame the faces of men everywhere.
Today Westward Men holds true to the tenets we founded the company on: quality products made the right way. We hope you enjoy what we bring to the table and we know your face will appreciate it!
